The greater the pressure applied to the ski through the turns, the wider the ski becomes at the tip and tail, allowing turns to be carved more tightly. The rigidity of the flex also increases with speed and pressure, allowing the ski to be ridden more dynamically. Optimum edge grip is ensured by Active Camber, which maximizes the effective edge length in turns and therefore increases grip.
