NEW Elan's e/Flex 6 (the e stands for Early Rise) is an extremely stable and smooth turning carving ski for low intermediate to advanced skiers. These skis feature a Cap style construction, which is a bit lighter and more flexible than sidewall/sandwich skis but still offers good torsional rigidity for high-speed/hardpack skiing. The Elan e/Flex 6 also has early rise tips, which makes the contact point for turn initiation closer to your boot and center of mass (imagine trying to turn a ski that is 40 feet long, you couldn't do it), which makes it not only easier to initiate turns but also will help you to begin carving your turns instead of simply smearing your turns from side to side.
