Dalbello altered the last-width from 98 to 100 mm in the new Ax collection part of the Lupo series. The skiers who have struggled to find a boot that’ll fit their Sasquatch feet will bow down to this line. Besides accommodating those with girthy foot sizes, the Lupo Ax 120 boasts a 120-flex rating, tech inserts, a new hike mode mechanism that allows for a 67-degree range of motion and a fully customizable liner. The Lupo Ax 120 also comes complete with Dalbello’s own GripWalk rockered soles.
A LUPO THAT’S COMFORTABLE…. FINALLY.
Gripwalk // Dynafit Inserts
The previous Lupo models, let’s be honest, could have fit a little better. The AX 100 mm last fit’s a heck of a lot better and it’s more hike/tour friendly. The Lupo AX 120 maintains it’s responsive feel that you would expect from a Dalbello 3 piece boot, though it flexes a bit softer than the KR AX 120 " due to the buckle/strap system and pebax tongue in the Lupo AX 120. The 67º Range of Motion keeps you in front of the pack when you’re skinning with the crew, and the ID Max liner and improved fit allows you to be comfortable while doing it. For skiers that want to make sure they're still in a boot that has solid downhill performance, while being uphill capable the Lupo AX 120 is a good bet.
