The new Nela 86 has been completely redesigned, so it is now even more versatile. Its waist width of 86 mm provides precision when switching between edges quickly.
The Nela 86 features:
• Light Core-Light European wood species are deployed in the all-mountain, freeride/off-piste segments. This makes the core a little softer and suppler, which lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable.
• Thin Glass Laminate-This fiberglass laminate is 25% lighter than its conventional counterpart. The optimized material composition maintains the stiffness of the fiberglass and thus the ski's handling characteristics.
• Tail Rocker-the longer rocker enables optimum grip when edging.
• Solid Metal Edge Light-A modified die-cutting procedure means the edge is inserted less deeply into the ski, which saves weight.
• Soft Flex-The individual layers are thinner and some models feature lighter materials. This lends the ski a softer flex. Light skiers benefit from the enhanced bending characteristics which off enhanced enjoyment with less effort.
• Polywall - This sidewall is slightly softer and more elastic than the phenolic sidewall. It exhibits dampening properties and thus boasts significantly higher impact resistance.
• Freeride Tip Technology-Light, stiff insert material at hte tip makes the shovel more stable and less jittery. This light Freeride Tip material helps generate more lift in deep snow. It improves lift with lower swing weights and makes it easy and effortless skiing in all snow conditions.

The Squire 11 has progressive looks and is specially designed for lighter weight but fully motivated freeride and freestyle skiers. A lightweight Triple Pivot Light toe piece features a distinctive Ice Off Rail to keep the sole free of snow and ice. A state-of-the-art Hollow Linkage heel with its wider boot holder reduces the step-in force by approximately 35%, even with GripWalk soles. All in all, the Squire 11 is very compact and, despite its GripWalk compatibility, only 24 mm high, which allows a very direct feel and ski control.
